Achieving Efficient Performance Management and Effective Governance: Potential of Annual Performance Agreement in Bangladesh

The study specifically focused on Bangladesh and made an effort to explore and explain the country's attempt of embracing the principles of New Public Management (NPM), its journey towards the performance management movement and the process through which the Government of Bangladesh (GoB) has attempted to design and implement the performance management tools. This research focused on the analysis of tactics that can enhance accountability for results and followed a mix method research approach.
