At our monthly knowledge-sharing session this October, we had the pleasure of delving into the world of travel with our very own adventurer, our colleague Fahmida Ferdous Maria. Maria, with a profound love for exploring the uncharted, regaled us with her captivating journey into the world of travel and her passion for trekking.Maria began her enlightening session by sharing the backstory of her wanderlust. She enlightened us about how her fascination with travel was kindled, the motivation behind it, and how it has evolved over time. The session took a thrilling turn when Maria shared her profound love for trekking. She spoke about her countless adventures in the captivating Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT), especially in the region of Bandarban.

However, not all journeys are smooth, and Maria shared a riveting story of one such challenging experience. She recounted a nightmarish trekking incident in Bandarban where her team faced a flash flood. The courage and resilience they displayed by continuing the journey through the treacherous night, despite the odds stacked against them, were truly commendable.

To add a visual dimension to her tales, Maria treated us to a captivating vlog from her travels. One particularly enchanting moment was when her team celebrated the New Year in Thaikkheng Para. The festive spirit and the warmth of the local community left an indelible mark on their hearts, showing us all the beauty of cultural exchange in travel.

Maria’s knowledge-sharing session was a true revelation, a glimpse into the wonders of the world through her eyes. Her passion for travel and trekking is not just a hobby but a way of life, and her adventurous spirit inspires us all to embrace the world with open arms.

Stay tuned for more engaging and insightful knowledge-sharing sessions in the coming months, as we continue to explore the diverse talents and interests of our colleagues.
