Blast is implementing a project titled access to justice through community legal service supported by the Maxwell Stamps over period of 2013-2016. Blas was working to contribute to improve awareness of right remedies and services among women, men and children in marginalized socially excluded and hard to reach communities and to increase their capacity to seek redress from the informal and formal justice system . Also contributing to enhanced access to justice and increased responsiveness of justice mechanisms as well as an improved legal and policy framework to secure rights for women, men and children from marginalized, socially excluded and hard to reach communities. Based on this background, BLAST engaged dRi to conduct a research on forced eviction and housing right of slum dwellers and the study was conducted on the two slum of Dhaka city named Korail slum and Mohakhali slum.
