The study is supported by the Innovation and Growth project of UK’s DFID office in Dhaka. The main target of this study was to understand the current SME finance situation in Bangladesh. The study focused on a number of aspects including how banks lend to SME, the nature of competition and the general environment surrounding the banking system.
