With a vision to create social and behavioural change in people to improve the lives of early married girls in Bangladesh, IMAGE Plus will be implemented as a continuation of IMAGE I project. As the IMAGE Plus has evolved out of the positive results and lessons learned of IMAGE I, it will continue to address the continued needs to support the Early Married Girls in Bangladesh and to advocating for protection of their rights on a national level. Therefore, the project expands its geographical target area in Gaibandha, Kurigram and Nilphamari covering a total of 9000 early married girls and including three newly identified thematic areas along with other target audiences for the social and behavior change during the project period from December 2016 to December 2020.
dRi conducted this baseline study and the objective was to provide reliable baseline data on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), Nutrition, Education and Vocational Training, Livelihood, and Gender Based Violence (GBV) and form platform for the impact evaluation for the targeted beneficiaries as per the indicators of project’s objectives and expected results specified in the project logical framework.
