This study covered the aspects of different types of crimes that frequently occur in Bangladesh. The study was focused on how these crimes affect the daily livelihoods of people and the strategies victims undertake to protect themselves from crime. The positive and negative roles of the government and non-governmental agencies were assembled through the research.
