World Fish collaborated with the Development Research Initiative (dRI) to conduct two surveys, one with all tilapia hatcheries in Bangladesh and another one with 3,000 tilapia grow-out producers in GIFT dissemination catchment areas. There are about 300 tilapia hatcheries in Bangladesh. The survey targets to interview hatchery operators of all the 300 tilapia hatcheries. In order to fast track data collection, a large sample of enumerators (about 20) will be engaged. Interviews will be conducted via CATI. The survey questionnaire will be developed by World Fish and sent to dRi for programming into Survey CTO.
