In order to have a deeper understanding of COVID-19-induced vulnerabilities and risks, adjustments and opportunities, and efficacy of delivery of government policies from the perspective of employment scenario and government support measures, CPD undertook 2 studies under Enhancing the participation of community-based organizations (CBOs) and CSOs in democratic governance in Bangladesh, implemented by CPD and Oxfam and funded by the European Union. dRi on behalf of CPD conducted the studies following a Mixed-method approach. Total 2600 HHs Surveys, 36 FGDs and 37 KIIS were conducted in 16 districts of Bangladesh to find out the employment related adjustments due to COVID-19 and to assess the effectiveness of delivering the relief supports to cope with COVID- 19 in Bangladesh.
