Global discussion on climate change has now spread from the scientists and climate specialists through policy makers to journalists. It is the duty of a journalist to find out the inter-connected logics behind such a wide-spread topic around the world as well as revealing the continuing events on this issue. In this case, the responsibilities of a Bangladeshi journalist increase more while writing on climate change. Therefore, as a journalist one must know the definition of, reasons for and impact of climate change in the society as a prerequisite of producing quality and informative report on climate change issue. With this vision, a climate change toolkit has been prepared to help the media workers and specially the rural level journalists through easier access to necessary information and ideas on climate change issues under the context of Bangladesh. So, the objective of preparing this toolkit was to assist the rural/grass root level journalists working on climate change issues through providing sufficient knowledge, information and directions regarding how to measure the actual reasons and long-term effects of climate issues while preparing climate change oriented reports in future.
