SNV Bangladesh Development Organization is implementing “Working with Women” project for “Promoting SRHR through Inclusive Business Practices within Ready Made Garment Industry in Bangladesh” with funding support from the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands (EKN). SNV has commissioned this external evaluation to assess the increased knowledge/awareness, attitude and practices among RMG workers on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), assess capacity development status of implementing partners (service providers), measure achievements of desired impact/outcomes (whether the goal/long term objectives are met), and collect qualitative data for informing scale-up of similar interventions in RMG sector. Information has been gathered to understand on what extent this project has achieved the desired goal/impact and objectives/outcomes, find out the constraints and how to overcome those constraints and enhance sustainability of the action. The study adopted a mixed method approach where both quantitative and qualitative tools were used. For collecting quantitative data, combination of quasi-experimental and experimental design was used. Study covered Savar, Gazipur, Tangail, Narayanganj, Narsingdi upazilas.
