ODI researched the issue of backsliding in three feed the future countries and authoring a case study on each country that examines the content specific explanation for both the differences in impoverishment rates between countries as well as between households within each country to assess the variable contribution of co-variant and idiosyncratic risks, national policy and sovereign risk management and households level exposure, resilience capacity and vulnerability variables that account for why some households backslide or become poor while others sustainable escape poverty or remain non poor. dRi became the partner of this study for Bangladesh region and collected data for the study accordingly.
