With an aim to strengthen community-based approaches for improved MIYCN and inter-linked health, preventive and pro-motive practices and services, FHI 360 has undertaken an activity which entails review, mapping and analysis of existing community outreach, engagement and accountability interventions/packages linked to nutrition service delivery approaches through health and other systems in Bangladesh and identify gaps, innovation and best practices. To conduct the mapping and identify best practices, qualitative interviews were conducted with health system personnel including service providers and supervisors, with Community Group (CG), Community Support Group (CSG) and Mothers Support Group in two upazilas each in Comilla (Chattogram division) and Jhenaidah (Khulna division) districts. The study also observed Community-based MNCH services in the selected upazilas.
