The aim of the USAID Agricultural Extension Project is to build capacity and strengthen the agricultural extension system by using Information Communication Technology (ICT). The specific goals of the project are to capacity building within the targeted farmers and the agricultural extension agents as well as to strengthen the National Agriculture Information System (NAIS). The objective of this evaluation was to know the extent to which the project is impacting its beneficiaries and what are the attitudes of the beneficiaries of the projects towards the mobile ICT tools. This study was conducted in program implementation or treatment areas as well as in non-intervention or control areas using both qualitative and quantitative methods.
