Led by Dr. Naomi Hossain of IDS and Dr. Ferdous Jahan of University of Dhaka, this project focuses on the impacts of price volatility within low-income settlements in different regions of Bangladesh. The research is longitudinal; its goal is to understand the dynamics of these impacts and responses over time as prices fluctuate. It forms part of an expansive study across ten countries, funded by DFID and Oxfam. The project is expected be completed in 2016
