This study will be conducted to assess the needs of the childcare for low-income women in urban Bangladesh. It is seen that lack of adequate and quality childcare presents a major barrier to the female employment in Bangladesh. Majority of the women who do not work cite child care responsibility as the primary reason for their inactivity. Study will follow a mixed method approach applying both qualitative and quantitative methods.
