“Resilience Focused Baseline Survey” is a baseline research study to know about the exact socio economic condition of Hilsha fisherman, their shocks or stressors as well as coping up strategy. The baseline study aimed to evaluate the program implemented by World Fish and other partner NGOs and to design the program more efficiently. The study was conducted among 1200 Hilsha fisherman where 600 was from project or intervention areas and other 600 was from the non-intervention or control areas. The study was conducted in six different districts of Bangladesh using a structured questionnaire.
