National Skills Development Authority (NSDA) is working under the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) to accelerate the process of skilling the huge population with required skills that have demand in local and global job market. It is well perceived that appropriate skills in RMG & T and ICT sectors carry high value and demand in local and global job market. But unfortunately, NSDA lacks statistics about the skills supply and demand of RMG & T and ICT sectors. As a result, a comprehensive planning could not be developed for the skilling of manpower in RMG & T and ICT sectors. Therefore, on behalf of NSDA, CPD conducted a comprehensive sector analysis of RMG & T and ICT sectors where dRi collected quantitative data from 400 relevant stakeholders of RMG & T and ICT sectors. dRi shared a cleaned dataset after surveying the factories/firms and validating the data set. The data set were shared in excel and. dta (STATA) format separately for both the RMG&T and the ICT sector.
