The development of the “documentation of best practices” was the result of collective contribution by concerned stakeholders (i.e. the project staffs and trainers, decision makers, donors, beneficiaries, and others). The objective of this research was to document the lessons learnt and best practices of the project from January 2003 to June 2011. It was also essential to identify the current challenges the EPF project was facing, and to propose recommendations to overcome those challenges. We were subsequently able to direct RDRS and others as to how they could use lessons learned from the project to apply in different settings throughout the region and the nation as a whole.
