The impact evaluation was a joint WFP /UNHCR exercise and Bangladesh was one of four countries in the evaluation. The aim of the evaluation was to better understand the impact of food assistance on long-term refugees. It included examining different livelihood parameters and looking empirically at how food assistance has affected the parameters, as well as exploring refugees’ options for obtaining durable solutions. This study was jointly conducted with Spanish Research Organization – DARA.
