Malteser International (in partnership with Gonoshasthaya Kendra) implemented a 27-month humanitarian project providing primary healthcare, nutrition, emergency relief, and protection services to approximately 87,956 Rohingya people in Camps 1-East, 11 and 22, and host communities in Kutubdia, Cox’s Bazar. The independent final evaluation assessed the project’s performance against OECD-DAC criteria (relevance, coherence, effectiveness, efficiency, impact, and sustainability), measured progress on seven key indicators (including patient satisfaction, preventive health knowledge, AAP, ANC/PNC coverage, exclusive breastfeeding, and adolescent SRH knowledge), and examined cross-cutting issues of GEDSI, protection, and Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP). dRi was engaged to conduct the full mixed-methods final evaluation, including quantitative beneficiary survey, qualitative consultations, data analysis, stakeholder validation, and delivery of the final evaluation report with actionable recommendations.
