Development Research Initiative (dRi) and Southeast University have signed an MoU to foster collaboration in research and academic excellence, focusing on enhancing partnership opportunities in knowledge sharing, capacity building, and research initiatives. This agreement was formalized on October 17, 2024, by dRi’s Executive Director, Md. Mamun-Ur-Rashid and SEU’s Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Yusuf Mahbubul Islam, representing their respective institution/organization. Key representatives from both institutes were also present at the event.
As part of this collaboration, dRi and SEU will jointly create research and knowledge creation opportunities. Collaborative training programs for skill development will be arranged for both SEU students and dRi staff. Furthermore, dRi and SEU will jointly organize seminars and workshops on socio-economic issues and both institutions/organizations also aim to collaborate on publishing research works. dRi also intends to offer internships for suitable candidates referred by SEU.
The purpose of the MoU is to encourage internships, collaborative research, and the exchange of ideas for the advantage of both parties. dRi is excited about this partnership and looks forward to fruitful collaborations that will advance our shared goals.
