The Bangladesh Upoma Activity, supported by USAID, aimed to enhance design, monitoring, evaluation, and learning efforts through analytical and advisory services. As part of this initiative, EnCompass tasked dRi with conducting socio-economic household surveys across various regions of Bangladesh.
dRi successfully carried out two extensive surveys, reaching approximately 4,000 households across 120 villages in the districts of Kurigram, Gaibandha, Jamalpur, Sirajganj, Netrakona, Kishoreganj, Sunamganj, Habiganj, Satkhira, and Khulna. Using mobile data collection tools such as KoboToolbox and georeferencing technologies, dRi ensured efficient and high-quality data collection. Under the close supervision of Upoma and EnCompass staff, dRi adhered to the provided templates and guidelines for interview design and staff recruitment, ensuring the project’s successful implementation.
