The endline survey and impact assessment aimed to evaluate the overall performance of the ODOMMO project, implemented by JAAGO Foundation Trust in Mithamoin, Kishoreganj, from November 2022. The assessment measured the effectiveness of project interventions, captured lessons learned, and analyzed progress toward intended outcomes. ODOMMO addressed persistent gender inequalities in education by tackling barriers such as early marriage, domestic responsibilities, school-based violence, and lack of access to menstrual hygiene and reproductive health information. The project promoted inclusive and gender-responsive education through teacher training in social-emotional learning, STEM, and digital pedagogy, improvements in WASH facilities and classroom infrastructure, and mobilization of Girls’ Clubs and School Management Committees. The evaluation focused on changes in perceptions and behaviors of school and government authorities, improvements in girls’ enrollment and retention, teacher capacities, and community engagement. Findings provided insights into the project’s sustainability and its contribution to creating equitable learning environments for girls in rural Bangladesh. dRi conducted the assessment to evaluate how ODOMMO influenced enrollment, retention, attitudes, infrastructure, teacher capacities, and community engagement, ultimately contributing to a future where girls in rural Bangladesh can access and thrive in equitable educational environments.
