Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) has expanded its cooperative hand to the Government of Bangladesh by undertaking a technical cooperation project titled “Dhaka Road Traffic Safety”. The objective of the “Dhaka Road Traffic Safety” project was to diminish the road accident rates in the Dhaka Metropolitan Area by enhancing the institutional and enforcement capacity of Dhaka Metropolitan Police. The project was implemented by Oriental Consultants Global Co. through a delegated expert team named JICA Expert Team. In this light, the JICA Expert Team administered a Endline Survey to evaluate the current knowledge and awareness of Dhaka citizens on Road Traffic rules as well as to assess their level of satisfaction with the existing Road Traffic Safety activities in Dhaka Metropolitan area. dRi, on behalf of JICA Expert Team conducted 6450 surveys through online with the support of ward commissioner offices.
