Female victims of domestic violence without refuge are housed and rehabilitated in BNWLA’s shelter homes. The study explored an institutional assessment: examining services in the shelter homes, the number of clients served origin of clients, average length of stay, NGOs linked to rehabilitate victims, etc. An administrative system review was also conducted in which policy and planning frameworks, record keeping, monitoring structures and challenges faced in implementation were considered. The sustainability, comparative best practices and impacts of the shelter home program were also examined.
