University of Hamburg conducted a study to explore the associations between climate change adaptation measures and the well-being of populations on the southwest coast of Bangladesh. The research examined both material and non-material dimensions of well-being (including subjective well-being) and adaptation practices in the crop, fish, and livestock sectors. It also conducted preliminary tests of hypotheses linking nature connectedness to well-being outcomes in the face of adaptation measures, focusing on climate-vulnerable communities in the Sundarbans region. dRi was engaged to implement the quantitative household survey component of the study.
