The Sustainable Livelihood Opportunities and Challenges for Rohingya Fathers: An Exploratory Evaluation study investigated the barriers faced by Rohingya fathers in accessing gainful employment within refugee camps and examined the resulting impact on their psychosocial well-being and engagement with their children during the critical early childhood years. By utilizing a mixed-methods approach, the study combined qualitative interviews and quantitative assessments to uncover the challenges fathers face in securing employment and the resulting effects on their mental health and parent-child interactions. This research aimed to provide insights that could guide evidence-based interventions to support fathers’ well-being and enhance positive parent-child relationships in the unique context of the refugee camps. dRi conducted 300 surveys and 12 KIIs as part of this comprehensive study.
